Kasaysayang Exhibit Launch

Last friday, a premier art group in the Philippines: “Tutok”, launched KasaySayang exhibit. It was held at Intellectual Property Office’s Alab Art Space.

For a noob like me in the art scene, I was really amazed and “startstrucked” on the exhibitors and their works. Damn their one hell of a group. I met a lot of artists that night. I LOVE MY JOB!

They were really nice and accomodating to my stupid questions about curating an exhibit (yuh, one of my new dreams: to become an exhibit designer). They were really passionate about their work. They don’t get any money out of it but they stayed late to finish the art space. I just wish I was that good.

Talks ranging from politics, photography, artists (sorry for my ignorance, but I haven’t heard them before), to girls (courtesy of Mideo). haha.

I also met the artists who made the “NPC Mural”, which National Press Club (NPC) bastardized. The original, unbastardized version is currently displayed on our art space.

So friends, if you want to see the best of the best works of the past, present and future premiere artists of the Philippines, go to Alab Art Space, its along Gil Puyat Ave (Intellectual Property Office). Give me a ring or text me if your going so I can tour you around (plugging)…
