There are many Social Networking apps out there. Friendster, Facebook, Flickr, digg and many more.

I have found this very useful client called 8Hands. This client (currently for Windows only…. damn… when will my Mac get some love) will inform you any updates, messages sent by your contacts at Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube.

Its still in Alpha version but this is very promising. I’ll keep you updated from time to time. As for now, you can go to 8Hands website and download the sucker.

Now lets go to Twitter. I guess you are familiar with Status on IM clients. Twitter is similar to that. Its like doing a mini-blog. By just answering a very simple question…. “What are you doing”… nice nice app…. check it out
