Cansei de Ser Sexy
Jayem, introduced me to this band when we went to Camiguin. I can’t freaking pronounce the name of their band to give them justice so I’ll just call them CSS (Could somebody teach me how to pronounce it?)
Cansei de Ser Sexy which literally means “Tired of being sexy” in Portuguese is an Electro-Rock band. They are a brazilian band who are starting to make waves around the world.

Their break came in when an 18 yr old kid made an Ipod Touch commercial that used “Music is My Hot, Hot Sex” as a soundtrack for the 30 second commercial and shared it via YouTube. Apparently, the Apple executives took notice and asked the kid to remake this amateur video into a broadcast quality commercial. Sweet!!!
You gotta love “Lovefoxx”, their lead vocalist of Japanese and German decent. At one time during their concert, she rips a part of her wardrobe at the end of each song until she was naked. She is one crazy girl on stage and she is known for her stage dives.
According to one article, they launched an album that has an extra CD-R so that the owner can burn a copy of that CD that they can give to their friend. Great way to market themselves. O well, they just waived their Copyright but I salute them for taking the risk.
