Limitado

I went with Adoks to Limitado (Tado’s shop) in N. Roxas in Marikina. It is somewhere near Sta Lucia Mall in Marcos Hi-way. The place is not hard to find. But you need to make sure that you are going to “N” Roxas because they have “M” and “O” (I think…). Somewhere near a Pares place I’ve been before… kinda familiar.

He introduced me to Tado (a celebrity here in Manila) and Tado’s wife. It was a riot! He has so many ideas that were out of this world.

I went around his shop. He is selling collectible toys ranging from Kiss action figures to Volkswagen toy cars to beads and girl’s anik anik. The products that he is selling are not expensive.

He even showed me his band and their CD (Live Tilapia). I listened to the tracks and the songs were amusing.

We talked about his days in Strange Brew, Erning his assistant, Rock Ed, Ramon Bautista. I can say that he is a down to earth kinda guy. No traces of being an Airhead since he was in showbusiness.

He is a photographer too! He shoots with a Nikon FM2 35mm camera and a medium format Mamiya. He gave me some inside info about his future plans about his shots but I won’t write about it yet…. (peace tayo Tado!)

So if you want to buy Astig Shirts Co and other Tado shirts you can go to his shop and he will surely accomodate you… (o tsong plugging store mo… hehehe)

It was indeed a strange but exciting night. This is what you get from being a bum.. hehehehehe
