Interview #3
Whew!! Damn, I was late for the interview. The freaking tricycle driver doesn’t know where he was going. I ran from ground floor to the third floor of their office. One of the staff there assisted me with dialing in to the bridge. The clients were already there. Luckily, my friend told me that I did great on the interview.
One of their main concern was that I am overqualified for the position! wahhh They told me that I may get bored doing support for them because of my background and experience. I didn’t know that my experience in IT may lead to me not getting the job. I told them, that there is no such thing as “easy job”. Everyday, I learn new things and I try to learn things that may help me in the future. Thats how I work, thats how I survive. IT support is not an easy job. I can tell you that. I told them that I always crave things to learn. Hope they were satisfied with my reply.
At the end of the interview, they told me that they will be sending an proficiency exam for me via e-mail. honestly, the questions are NOT that easy. Luckily, my experience helped me a lot (not to mention my superman’s help and my other friend GOOGLE). I finished the exam after three hours and I submitted it to my friend gadget girl. She sent me a PM that I was the first one to submit the exam on the day it was given. All of the other applicants submitted the exam the next day. whew! that was a relief. Maybe because for the reasons that I don’t want to divulge, I tried to finish it ahead of time.
The client e-mailed gadget girl for my second interview with the IT Director on monday. Whew! “That was fast”, thats what she told me. If I pass that exam, I will be meeting the team so that they can get a feel of me (not in a maniacal way). After that, its judgement time (hmmm sounds like American Idol shit) hahahaha…
I really want this post, that I can tell you. I will be able to work alone at home or go up to happy mountain’s place to work and have fun with boo, boobear and superman!
In two weeks am outta here!! wohoooo…. Wish me luck…
